34-Year-Old Woman Arrested in Connection with Southeast Bakersfield Homicide

A 34-year-old woman has been apprehended in connection with a homicide that occurred in the southeast area of Bakersfield on Friday.

According to Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials, Dolores Alatorre, 34, was apprehended on Sunday in connection with the murder of Armando Meza Jr., 34, on Ogden Street.

According to officials, Meza was wounded in the early morning hours of October 18 in the 1300 block of Ogden Street. Meza was transported to Kern Medical, where he was declared deceased.

Alatorre was apprehended on suspicion of murder and is currently being detained without bail. She is slated to appear in court on Tuesday afternoon.
