The meeting to inform residents on an initiative that Councilman Becton has been working on for nearly 18 years – the Baymeadows Community Improvement District. Councilman Becton will present, on behalf of the BCC, information pertaining to the BCID, a proposed initiative to fix and enhance the neighborhood of the Old Baymeadows Golf Course.
While so many new and exciting investments are taking place around us, such as Baymeadows Park, The Lofts, and the new neighborhoods of Meadow Walk and Bay Point, there is just as many great opportunities and potential left that continues to age and decline.
“The Baymeadows area was once a vibrant golf course community where owner associations worked,” Councilman Becton explained. “Today, the golf course is gone and many of those associations do not have the resources, nor the economies of scale, to successfully keep up with maintenance demands much-fewer capital improvements.”
Join Councilman Becton and the Baymeadows Community Council to discuss how the community can address improvement concerns and ultimately answers the frequently asked question, “What Is The Solution?”
Come out to learn how you can be part of transforming the Baymeadows area back to its prime, when everyone knew it as “the place to live!”
