Jacksonville, FL (January 26, 2023) — Duval County Property Appraiser Jerry Holland on Thursday endorsed Danny Becton, a longtime Jacksonville resident and current Jacksonville City Councilman, to succeed him in the Duval Property Appraiser’s race.
Added Becton: “I am honored to have current Property Appraiser Jerry Holland’s support. A strong, conservative leader is vital to the future of the Property Appraiser’s
Office, and I appreciate Jerry’s confidence in my abilities and qualifications. As a small business owner for 28 years, I’ve managed people, payrolls and budgets, which is essential to lead the Property Appraiser’s Office. I will also bring the same conservative values to the Property Appraiser’s Office that I have as the District 11 City Councilman over the last eight years.”
Danny Becton, a 37-year resident of Jacksonville and community leader, is the current Jacksonville City Councilman for District 11. He was first elected in 2015.
The 2023 Jacksonville Unitary First Election is March 21, 2023. Early voting takes place March 6-19.
