A tragic incident occurred on the Palmetto Expressway in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Sadly, a driver lost his life when his car collided with a concrete barrier wall. Authorities confirmed this tragic accident on Sunday morning.
According to Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Alex Camacho, the collision took place in the southbound lanes of the highway close to Southwest Eighth Street around 3 a.m.
According to Camacho, the victim was behind the wheel of a Honda sedan at the time of the car crash. A man was declared deceased at the location and his identity has not yet been disclosed.
During the initial investigation, Camacho stated that the southbound lanes on the Palmetto Expressway had to be closed for approximately three hours. The investigation is still ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
