WEST POINT, Miss. (Danny Becton) — Authorities in West Point apprehended a man accused of injuring a woman in a shooting on Friday night.
Police have identified him as LaJeffrey Quinn, 32, who is currently detained in the Clay County jail following his arrest on Saturday for attempted murder.
A judge has set his bond at $500,000.
Investigator John Michael Lay reported that Quinn engaged in an argument with a woman on Critz Street and subsequently shot her.
She was discharged from the hospital over the weekend.
