Lil Durk was taken into custody in Florida on charges related to murder-for-hire.
According to an exclusive report by TMZ, a number of individuals belonging to the OTF crew, with whom Durk is associated, have been charged with the murder of rapper Quando Rondo’s cousin.
U.S. Marshals apprehended Durk and subsequently placed him under arrest, after which he was taken to Broward County Jail on Thursday night. As of now, he is being held in custody without the option of posting bail.
No information has been made available regarding the specifics of his arrest.
On Thursday, we shared the news that the federal authorities arrested five members of the OTF gang in relation to the fatal shooting in Los Angeles in August 2022, which claimed the life of Quando Rondo’s cousin. The individuals have now been formally charged in a federal indictment with conspiracy to commit murder for hire.
The federal authorities claim that the crime was carried out as a response to the death of rapper King Von in Atlanta four years ago.
In November 2020, Quando Rondo’s associate Lul Timm fatally shot King Von during a confrontation. Initially charged with murder, the case against Timm was eventually dropped.
