Jacksonville, FL (January 29, 2017) Mary Andrew, CEO of the Jacksonville Juniors Volleyball Association (JJVA), proudly cut the ribbon to officially open their new facilities at 8457 Western Way, 32256. On hand for the ribbon cutting was District 11 Council Member Danny Becton.

JJVA was founded in 1989 and is a 501(c)3 organization and serves over 1,500 players each year and employs over 80 people both full and on a part time basis. JJVA new facilities occupy over 70,000 square feet in a building off Western Way, conveniently located to many nearby Baymeadow’s hotels and restaurants. The new building is home to twelve indoor volleyball courts with an in-house physical therapy center. Ms. Andrew, instills the JJVA motto “Get Better Every Day” by training youth to be better citizens and players through Soccer. Mary also added, she looked forward to the JJVA being part of the community through its various programs, tournaments and organizations.

JJVA currently hosts at least 21 local competitions per year bringing in teams from Georgia, Florida, Alabama and South Carolina. The new training center will allow for the addition of more youth club teams, competitions and related events. In addition to the regular league games, there are fitness programs and weekly games available to men and women. This facility will also provide a home for larger indoor tournaments and bring over $3 million dollars of economic impact to the Northeast Florida Region. Sponsorship programs are available.
