A woman from southwest Miami-Dade County, Florida, took a domestic dispute to a whole new level when she confronted her estranged husband outside his home. The situation escalated quickly when she brandished a gun, fueled by suspicions of infidelity. Authorities have confirmed the incident.

The couple, who police mentioned are currently living separately, engaged in a heated argument on the property. The dispute arose from allegations of infidelity. The property in question is a vast agricultural area with trailers.

Mirza Morera, 54, reached her husband’s residence close to the 20000 block of 168th Street and contacted him to open a spacious front gate near their home around 10 a.m. on Sunday, according to the police.

As the victim approached the gate, he witnessed Morera standing outside, gripping a semi-automatic gun in her left hand, all the while accusing him of being unfaithful, according to the police.

The husband panicked and rushed into his vehicle, desperately trying to escape. In the process, he accidentally crashed into a wooden utility pole. This incident was reported by the authorities.

Morera relocated her vehicle to the county swale across the street from the property, according to the police.

According to the report, the police were alerted by a nearby witness who resides in a separate trailer on the same property. The witness heard the argument and subsequent gunfire.

The police instructed her to place the weapon on the ground, after which she was taken into custody.

According to jail records, Morera is currently charged with three offenses. These include aggravated assault with a firearm, improper exhibition of a firearm or weapon, and unlawful discharge of a firearm while inside a public place or residential property.

She is currently being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $3,000 bond, as of Monday.
