On Wednesday afternoon, a car was pinned beneath a semi-truck on California City Boulevard, resulting in the deaths of two people.
According to California City Police Department officials, the collision occurred in the 9500 block of California City Boulevard close to Hacienda Boulevard at approximately 4:40 p.m.
A Subaru Outback was pinned beneath the semi-truck’s trailer when the police arrived. When they arrived, medical staff determined that two adults were dead.
According to the investigation, the semi-truck was making deliveries by backing into the Family Dollar parking lot at 9567 California City Boulevard. The trailer of the semi-truck then struck the Subaru.
Alcohol and narcotics do not seem to have played a role in the collision, according to the police.
